Enquiries

For translations, proofreading or editing, simply contact me with details of your project. I will then gladly put together an offer which is tailored to your texts, free of charge and at no obligation. In order to properly assess the translation, proofreading or editing workload, ideally I need to see the text in question. At the very least I’ll need the following information:

• the length of the text/number of words
• source and target language
• subject area
• file format
• any additional services (e.g. certification, formatting, terminology work)
• requested delivery date

Price calculation

Translations are calculated based on the number of words in the original text. Editing and proofreading services are calculated based on the number of words or lines, depending on the project. If required, additional fees apply for extra services such as certification, formatting, terminology work or proofreading by a second person.

The exact cost depends on the length and difficulty of the text as well as on how quickly you need the work done. As these are individual services tailored to each new project, I am unable to quote any general prices for my services.
